Ixcol is interesting and sounds cool, but it will be a nightmare for that child to explain pronunciation and spelling her whole life.

nope, just floor lol i’m assuming the way it’s said sounds very similar to Fleur in dutch. but just looking at it being floor makes me giggle. agree, Ixcol is cool in theory. but i’m sure it has a family tie or something like that

I taught a Kanta once. I'm sure you can guess the pronunciation 🤣 gorgeous kid, very unfortunate name for someone living in Australia. He is Japanese. Had a baby brother, but I never got to find out his name.

My bestie taught someone whose name was yourmumma (can't remember how to spell it), and the teachers immediately told the parents no when she started school 🤣 so she goes by Mimi now.
