Wait 1 period or TTC immediately??

I didn’t wait, but I also had a very straightforward miscarriage (as miscarriages go…) pretty early on. Unless you were quite far along and/or had medical intervention, from what Dr Google said, it’s safe to try straight away and the main reason they ask you to wait a cycle is for dating purposes.
I know what you mean about each cycle feeling like a lifetime… I remember feeling like we’ve been trying for ages when in reality in miscarried 1st of Jan and found out I was pregnant again 16th of April. Hang in there!

I miscarried at 9 or 10 weeks but the baby had stopped developing at just under 6 weeks. Miscarriage started naturally and I haven't needed any interventions so far. The consultant initially said wait 1 cycle but when I questioned it, she did say there wasn't any reason to start trying again straight away, I just feel confused 🙃 xx

After your pregnancy tests are negative you can try again x

My consultant told me we could try straight away and could be fertile 21 days later

In that case go ahead! But as amber is saying, wait for the hcg to leave your body and then try again! Hopefully it all happens quickly got you!

I should have clarified, I was told if I had a positive test after 3 weeks to go back for bloods, the point is to make sure that nothing is retained. Other than that I think you're good to go 🙂 good luck x
