second baby??
so i’ve got a 5 month old and im a first time mum, ive been debating weather to leave him an only child or have a second baby, was thinking of trying in 5 months so little man will be 19 months when the second baby is born, i want them to be close in age. what are your experiences with going from 1 to 2? i want what’s best for my baby i know i can afford a second one but im still unsure

My second one hasn’t been born yet, but I have a 13 month old, he will be 14 months when sis is here. (I got pregnant 5 months pp loool) but honestly it’s been so amazing thinking about how close they will be and other mums have also with a similar age gap to mine have said they’ve grown up incredibly close and happy. I think it’s deffo up to you and it’s not easy guys it’s definitely worth it in my opinion.
The best thing I did was give my little ones a sibling !
we’re same, i also cant decide i want my baby to have a sibling, but the thought of being pregnant and having to give birth again is scary
My first was born September 2024 and at 3 months she started screaming all day every day if I left the room for 5 minutes or if a family member held her. She started to get a bit better around September but there’s 16 months between my 2 and it’s so much easier having them both than it was just having my first 🤣 she loves the baby, constantly giving kisses and cuddles and whenever baby cries she wants to go to her as if to find out why and isn’t so bad now if I leave her downstairs to run upstairs for 2 minutes or go into the kitchen or tidy up whereas it was a screaming match before 🤣
