Hard lump/scar week post c section

Hey lovely! Congratulations  I had my baby last year and felt the same thing around my C-section scar, it was hard internally for a while. My doctor said it was normal and part of the healing process. It started to go down slowly, and by around 9 months postpartum, it had mostly softened. It’s a build up of scar tissue during recovery xx

That’s normal. I’ve had 2 c-sections and it’s happened to me both times. For me it eventually went away. It doesn’t always. But it’s usually not an issues.

So I had a large, hard “under the skin” lump too (only on one side) and was assured it was just “scar tissue”, but then my incision got infected and I was put on antibiotics and by the end of antibiotics, the lump was gone…. So I’m thinking it was part of the infection

I had a C-section 3 weeks ago and I have the same hard lump on my left side by the end of my incision, my midwife advised it was just swelling and to keep an eye for infection signs etc x
