C section or natural birth?

Hi girls please share stories with me!

So I'm due to give birth August with my second baby and I'm just wondering ladies did you find having an elective c section worked better for you or giving birth naturally?

I have had epilepsy since a few months old and eventually grew out of it but when I gave birth to my little boy 4 years ago I started having similar symptoms again and had two seizures/syncope episodes and have now been re diagnosed with epilepsy and put back on lamotrigine.. I also have been told I have vasovagal syncope and possibly pots as I had random spikes in my heart rate postpartum when standing which have came back with my second pregnancy.

Ive been told I'm not allowed to have a water birth due to the epilepsy but I am really looking at asking for an elective c section?

Please share your stories with me as I've got severe health anxiety and can't stop worrying about it all

So mine was a planned c-section so the recovery for me wasn’t bad at all. I’ve heard emergency c-section recovery is way different/ worse than a planned c-section. My c-section actually very healing for me after 2 traumatic vaginal births that destroyed my pelvic floor and had a feeling that a tampon was always stuck in my vagina… after my c-section I haven’t felt that and was completely back to normal at 3 weeks postpartum and feel great now at 10w postpartum. Best of luck to you mama

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!
