I get up much earlier than the rest of my family because I'm a serious introvert and 5am is my only shot at getting time to myself. But when I've been up late and my body just wants sleep, I panic when I oversleep my alarm. What do you do? Splash cold water on your face? What's your morning routine you just won't skip?

There’s never a day I oversleep. I’m always up around 8 or 9 I want sleep but my body wants to wake up. Thankfully my daughter sleep until 10. So I brush my teeth do skincare shower and make coffee then when she wakes up it’s breakfast

Slept in late? What is this phenomenon you speak of?
Having children put a stop to me staying in bed beyond 6:30am

I'm normally up about half six with my little one

Accidentally? Lol. My kids are night owls like me so they don’t usually wake up that early 🙏🏽 but I’m due with my 3rd in less than 6 weeks. I will take suggestions as well though for when school starts because I’m on the struggle bus every morning. I am not a morning person.

If you think it's going to be an issue, try sleeping with your curtains open and let the sunlight wake you up naturally.
I haven't set an alarm in years because as soon as anyone else wakes up they immediately come for me or start making enough noise to wake me. I think if your body needs the sleep you should get it and not feel bad about it. Good sleep is self care.

If I’ve slepped in late it usually means I’m late to the school run or work, so the panic wakes me up lol. I panic and jump straight out of bed feeling worried- that is what wakes me up😂😂
