1st holiday is coming up with our baby who will be 18mnths when we fly, please can you share advice regards luggage and flight?
We go through on average tx nappies a day, should we pack the nappies in our suitcases? We only have under seat luggage allowance for the flight.
Wipes I think 2x packs would be plenty? (Would probably only actually need 1)
Should we pack this in suitcase or get from boots?
Not sure what else to do, we are all inclusive but was going to take a few pouches and snacks for the flight. Is this OK to go through security with?
Any advice also welcome š

You can do a boots online order to collect air side that way itās not counted as your luggage/ hang luggage allowance. Just order it to come a day or 2 before you travel so you know itās deffo there.
You can take pouches and snacks etc with no limits
I'm sorry if this sounds stupid, but if I do that is it not going to be classed as or included in my luggage allowance for under the seat in the plane?

No it wonāt itās the same as buying something duty free š

You can also buy nappies on arrival if it's stressing you out š depending on where you're going they are sometimes quite expensive on the continent but they stick to same sizes generally. 1 pack of wipes should be fine if it's for 1 week.
Having flown quite a lot with our baby on easyjet, they tend to be quite lax with luggage if you've got a baby. So you can bring your own cabin bag, 1 extra bag for the baby (which can be a bit bigger than yours in fact), and 2 items like car seat or buggy.
@Rachel that's good to know, I thought they were really strict with the sizing of the bags which was worrying me, im only taking a standard rucksack for under the seat but was gonna fill it to the max

Personally, we just buy nappies, wipes, snacks et cetera when we get there from a big supermarket. We find that way easier than trying to remember everything we need to take into trying to pack it all and carry it all through the airport!

What are you planning to do about a pushchair? We gate checked our pram so that we could use it in the airport (this counts as one of your free 2 baby items). We bought a big pram travel bag to pack pram into at the gate, to protect it and keep the bassinet and wheels together, and were able to pack nappies and a small bag of baby's stuff into the pram bag too. When we arrived at the gate we were pushing the pram piled high with bags and nappies etc. None of the staff seemed bothered about how much stuff we had at all.
Obviously make sure you have spare clothes and nappies in your hand luggage, but try not to take too much - you don't get your pushchair back until baggage reclaim at the other end, so have to carry baby and all your hand luggage through sometimes long walks and queues at security and immigration. When we went it was very long queues, very warm, and I had baby's extra cabin bag. Thought I was going to pass out holding her.
I think we will take a pushchair to the gate, I plan to buy another one for the holiday as I ahve the icandy peach and don't want to that, im thinking of buying the joie lx parcel stroller as that felt nice in the shop and isn't too expensive
