Changing bags?

What changing bag are people thinking of getting? I'm stuck on what to get! ... Was debating the bugaboo one but I can't justify £100+ on a bag 😬

I have this one and I love it. It’s a good size to fit everything in whilst also not being huge. Plenty of pockets inside and out and it’s only £25. It’s lasted me a year and still looks brand new so I always recommend it

Have a look on vinted. You might get the one you want cheaper ☺️

I did look at this one but in the band "my babiie" but read the reviews and they wasn't the best. I'll check your one out though x

I have done but they still asking £40/50 I don't fancy paying that when they aren't in perfect condition x

The babymel bags are great

If you have not bought your pram/travel system yet you may get it all in a bundle, we did and ours is great. We got an ickle bubba travel system and got a huge bundle including changing bag, next to me crib and more! X

I've brought the travel system didn't even think of the changing bag at the time, excitement got the better of me x

I’ve heard good things about Tiba and marl bags x

Ahhh yes! So many pram options it’s so easy to get overwhelmed and too excited and forget other stuff. 🤦🏻‍♀️
Honestly the bag gets so many things thrown in it, it doesn’t need to look great. As long as it is comfy on your shoulders!
The main things you will put in it are: nappies, nappy bags, wipes, spare clothes for baby, fan with bendy legs for keeping baby cool if it’s hot, flask, rapid cool, bottles, powder, etc. make sure it has lots of little pockets to put stuff in, the above is what we have (not the full list, don’t want to bore you! Haha)
Ours has a little clip strap to attach it to the handle of the pram but most of the time it’s so heavy I’m scared for the pram so end up putting the bag on my back :) xx

Definitely keep checking Vinted I got a second hand nappy bag perfectly good condition for like 1/3 of the price!

I think I’m going to indulge in the Bugaboo one 🙈 whilst it’s a lot of money, I have tried so many others on showrooms , etc. and that one’s my favourite one. I helps a bit that it comes with a (IMO) good changing mat which saves me having to buy a new one (there are others that come with changing mats too but I don’t find them as nice and would probably end up buying one)

I also think the bugaboo can totally look like a bag I’d carry my laptop in to go to work, so I’d be giving it a life beyond the push chair stage.

That said, I’m keeping an eye on Vinted, Marketplace, etc. for second hand ones ☺️

I had the Gigil bag last time and it worked for us, plus I think it’s one of the nicest looking changing bags x

Wdy think of this for a toddler to learn word construction?

I'm open to anything else to start teaching him to read and write. He's 3!

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

Pumping advise

FTM to a 2 week old! I’m breastfeeding and then giving one formula bottle last in the evening before bed. I want to start expressing milk to give me some breathing room and also allow my partner to be more involved in feeding. I’m finding the idea of introducing pumping into my day quite overwhelming though. I don’t want to take milk away from my baby by pumping if he needs it during the day when being breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how I start pumping and when to do it? Thank you!
