Induction vs C-section?

Anyone got experience over induction or c-section if late? I want to give birth naturally but runs in my family that we are late! Everyone I know who’s had an induction said they wouldn’t recommend and it’s ended up in c-section (a lot from the mama and papas group I went to as well!)

I’ve had both and my induction was better, yes ok c-section is virtually pain free to get the baby out but my induction was only a few hours of pain to have the ability to be up and moving as soon as he popped out. I had a much shorter and positive recovery with an induction. If you want an induction I’d say go for it you can only but try!

i had a induction with my first and ended up in emergency c section wish i’d of said no now but there is a lot of ppl who have inductions and don’t have to have c sections everyone’s different but i was desperate for natural birth and now i have to have c sections to deliver all my baby’s …. x

I had an induction with my first that ended in a c section, but that was early not late. With this baby I have said I don’t want an induction but can’t decide between c section or VBAC. I saw a registrar today and told him my thinking and he said my induction probably failed because my baby and body weren’t ready and inductions are generally more successful the closer to term you are. If you don’t mind the idea of a c section anyway you could try the induction route first?

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Invited to a chuckie cheese party but I don't have money and don't want to tell my daughter that's why we can't go. Does anyone know how their parties work?

I'm not sure how chuckie cheese parties are. If they give you money to play or not if you're in the party. And then I'm wondering if it's an actual birthday party or if they're just going to chuckie cheese. Some guy in my building told me a couple weeks ago that his son's birthday is today and he's thinking of doing chuckie cheese. They sent an invite but I feel so insecure not being able to afford anything. Like if they don't have food for example. Idk what to do.

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
