FET advice

Hi! I’m booked in for a FET this afternoon. I’m starting to feel pretty much all the emotions now and wondering if anyone has any advice e.g. best thing to eat, anything to avoid before and after etc. I really want this to transfer to be successful x

Hey!! All the best . I’m guessing you have had your transfer already. My best advice to you is to just carry on life as normal- nothing you do now can change the fate of the transfer, for example what you eat or do ( so many factors beyond our control ). Be as relaxed as you can be and keep yourself busy ( easier said than done). Avoid or limit caffeine ( evidence based ). I had two FETs ( first one had an early miscarriage , second one gave me my LO). I did everything by the books for the first including post transfer salty fries . For the second one I let go and carried on as normal.
If you do test early that’s also okay- whatever you decide make sure you are ready to face it. You got this xx

Blood test

Im really nervous. Ive just had a blood test because I could possibly be pregnant again. Im only 9 months pp. please don’t judge me lol. I have been having symptoms but Im unsure on whether they are PMS or early pregnancy. Think id be around 3 weeks. However it won’t show up on a urine test. Has anyone else had this and only found out later and later than 12DPO? Im nervous for the results on Monday. I do really want another baby and we haven’t really been trying to prevent it but I also know it’s too soon. I think Id actually be upset if it comes back negative and I don’t know if thats wrong to feel that way at 9 months pp. we would love to have them close in age just wasn’t thinking this soon because honestly thought Id struggle this time around. I don’t know I suppose Im just getting this off my chest lol.

Positive PPROM stories

Been diagnosed with PPROM at 24+6 weeks. Completely out of my depth after having 3 straightforward pregnancies with no completions! I’ve been given steroids and am not having any contractions atm so I’m thinking they will let me go home soon with extra monitoring. Just looking for some positive stories and advice
