I had money saved for the holiday, but had an unexpected course fee to pay which drained a lot of money. I had planned to take my children glamping for a few nights (I am on a low income anyways as a student). That can no longer happen, but my children are still really excited by the idea of going camping, is there anyway I can do this for free, or for a small fee?

I used to go camping 3 times a year as a kid and we still did it when my mum was a student and retraining. We would go to really minimal campsite. So they'd have a loo block but not always a shower. These campsites were the best. We'd go for walks different places too so instead of going to big attractions we'd go for big walks around the area and do exploring around there. We often found some really cool things just walking around the local towns. If we went for a week we'd do 1 maybe 2 attractions. It is totally possible to go camping with very little money it just depends how basic of a campsite you'd like to go to
