Hi there! Has anyone else experienced this? My baby boy is about to be 3 months soon. He has struggled with very bad acid reflux and has terrible gas. I started with milicon drops a couple of weeks ago and I have noticed that my baby will spit up so much more after giving it to him. The drops help with his gas but then he is throwing up all day. It doesn’t seem to bother him but I have to watch him even closer so he doesn’t choke on his spit up. Does anyone else’s baby do this? Or should I stop giving him the drops all together? Could the medicine trigger his acid reflux? His dr said that he is gaining weight just fine and that everything else seems okay.

I did not have luck with the gas drops. I changed formula and it helped. We have prescribed acid reflux meds and those really helped him.

My little boy had HORRENDOUS reflux, every meal he’d throw up even after eating solids! Only stopped for good when he could sit up himself! But we found that instant carobel really helped keep a lot of it down! Maybe ask about that? :)

I would consider what you are consuming like dairy if you are breastfeeding as it could make acid reflux much worse. We also keep our LO upright for 30min after feeding, we also feed him upright, we have his crib slightly tilted and make sure that he is burped probably and the last thing is you could look at is the bottles could also cause extra gas. As soon as we figured all of this out with the gas drops it all got so much better

my baby is we the exact same! gas drops seemed to help his pain w gas so we continued but it was almost as if nothing helped his reflux. we had good days and bad days, even w famodatine (prescription) it didn't go away until he was well into solids, maybe sitting up. we did all the things, kept him up for 30 mins minimum after every meal, titled mattress, always upright, burped excessively, etc. it's just a chapter. when baby is out of it, you'll feel like all the things you did to help ease their pain was still the right thing to do. i'd continue using it
