Hi mamas,
The public fertility clinics are taking their sweet time to give appointments… I’m a desperate mama who’s eager to conceive 2nd child and don’t want to have a gigantic gap between daughter (already 4.5 yo) and baby #2.
Thanks

Hi! I don’t know which ones are private or not. We used One Fertility in Burlington but we had to wait a three months to get in (with OB referral).
I saw that there is New Life in Oakville the other day when I was getting blood work at the lifelabs at Trafalgar and Dundas. Not sure what their deal is. But I was thinking about checking them out if we need help for baby number two.
Sorry if you’ve already checked them out/not what you’re looking for.
Good luck mama. 🩷
Thank you Alana!! I’ll look them up.
I used to live in the Montreal area, and there were private clinics where you pay for fertility appointment and services. I did that while waiting for my appointments and next steps in the public system. It sounds like here in Ontario, they are all public and the wait time is super long in between appointments. I did all my blood work, cycle monitoring and HSG, etc. But I won’t be able to see my fertility doctor until Nov. which I find insane (3 months!!!!). At this rate, there will be a 10 year gap between my kids (and we’ve been in this journey already for 3yr+ 😞

Oh wow! I had to wait 3 months to see a doctor but after all the initial testing it was just a month before meeting for a protocol.
As mentioned, im with One Fertility in Burlington. We were referred by a doctor but I’m sure you can self refer.
I’ve also had friends go to the Niagara and Toronto area for clinics as they tend to be quicker about things.
Good luck. 🩷
Thank you !! I’ll definitely try that ♥️
