LG is 3 months. I'm struggling to get her to nap in the day unless it's on me! Whenever I try to put her down she will wake up straight away or after a few minutes.
I am desperate to do some housework and some deep cleaning!
We moved house when she was 5 weeks and the house although clean needs a real hands free deep clean/organise/de clutter.
Husband is helping however we have so much DIY to do he is focusing on that!
She will fall asleep in the carrier or car, however I try to save carrier use for when I walk the dog/pop to shops. She hates her pram.
Any tips/advice for getting a baby to go down in the day? I love our cuddles but i need my hands back and my house is really overwhelming me 😩

Every night I sleep with a muslin and blanket next to me and use them for naps the next day. We don’t swaddle in the evenings because he hates it but whilst he’s contact napping I will wrap a cellular blanket quite tightly round him before making the transfer and it seems to work!

We have a baby bjorn and she comes with me! I narrate what I’m doing or sing something and try and make as much eye contact as possible. It’s light enough that I can bring it with me. I’ll try and do one quick job every wake window or so.
I also try and do quicker bits while she’s on her play mat. It’s not perfect but it’s getting easier as her wake windows are getting longer (although I’m aware it might get harder if she’s going through fussy stages!).
It’s obviously not possible if you are EBF but her dad does her last two feeds of the day so they can have 1:1 time and I go and get some bits done then while listening to music or my podcasts.
The main thing is just accepting that some things will slip but that the cuddles won’t last forever so I’m making the most of them! X

I do jobs when baby is awake. Either on her play mat and I move it around with me or in the carrier and I do the same as above and talk/sing. I use her contact naps as time to relax and watch something or read.

Daytime naps follow the same routine as nighttime.. baby in a sleep bag and has her milk. She goes in her crib whilst drowsy with her muslin. We also have one of our shirts close by her that is tightly secured so it doesn't cover her face. Lights out, white noise on, and she sleeps for a good 2 to 3 hours during the day.

She's in our bedroom whilst she has her daytime naps now with the monitor on.. my toddler was getting a bit too noisy and any jostling near her would wake her up. She's slept way much better since being on her own.
