Does uk offer reassurance scan after miscarriage?

Most say 3 which is awful I’ve just had my second and still wouldn’t qualify on the NHS so if I wanted to, I would have to go private.

I think it's very hospital dependent, I had one chemical pregnancy and a mmc and they gave me reassurance scans at 6 & 8 weeks x

What Cara’s saying is correct, I was told that if the gap between them was over a certain period of time they didn’t necessarily have to look into them which I think is appalling. I think it’s only two or more in certain hospitals, but definitely not for one. I would still opt for private scans in between.

We have one child and sadly had a miscarriage in January. The lady told us if we fell pregnant again we’d be able to have a ‘reassurance scan’ at 7 weeks. We then were fortunate to fall pregnant again a few months later and I called the EPU and they told me to do the self referral form. All of the ‘tick’ boxes weren’t actually relevant for us (things like 3 miscarriages or more etc) but on the notes I just said we were told we were offered one when we had our miscarriage and we received notification of our appointment 😊

I’m having an early 7 week scan and I had 2 losses then a healthy pregnancy. I think you’d be advised to pay for a private scan having only had the one loss to be honest hun. However from past experience, it’s worth every penny!
