Hey I had a c-section and I was wondering if they are going to use the same incision spot for my next one? It’s pretty low (on my pelvic bone) I’ve seen a lot of women have the surgery on their lower stomach but mine is like way lower than that. I’d like them to use the same spot and any tips on how to make the scar not get hard after this one?

Mine was in the same place, everyone I know has had the same

Regarding the keloid, if you develop any hard keloid they cut it out in surgery the next time to keep the wound healing super neat and lower complications.

They will cut it open from the same place. I have had two c-sections and both cut in the same area.

Same cut if they can. They will cut any keloid scarring out. To avoid it next time look at scar massage to help.

I have had 3 through the same incision

that’s where mine is

@everyone thank you so much for your comments. Yall have lowered my anxiety so much

I have now had 2 c-sections and a myomectomy and they cut the same exact spot. My second c-section took longer because they had to get through the scar tissue. You can use scar tape 4-6 weeks post op depending on what your OB says to help with any keloid. But i usually have keloids from past surgeries have not had any on my C-section scar.

I just had my second and they used the same spot.

All 3 of mine were on the same scar line :-)

I have had 2 sections and they made a new scar this time unsure why
