Joie Estrella double for a new born?

Hey! Has anyone tried the Joie Estrella double with a newborn? My oldest will be 16 months when our little ones arrives in November and I’m trying to find the most compact double stroller. My only reservation is that our newborn will be front facing xx

I’ve recently bought this for my 2 girls (same age gap as you…they are currently 9 and 23 months) My little one was just over 6 months when we got it and it’s been the best purchase.
I got a 2nd hand bugaboo initially and it was ideal for newborn stage with the bassinet and seeing bubba.
I’d say it would be quite big for a newborn so I’d definitely look if you can get a newborn cocoon or insert or try get a donkey for 6 months Xx

I have that stroller but I bought it when my youngest was about 5 months. I definitely recommend it, but not really for a new born. However, I baby wore my youngest the whole time until we bought the double stroller, could that be an option for you?
If you really want that double stroller, I think there are newborn inserts for strollers that you could try. I couldn’t advise either way on those but I guess it’s an option! X

What are your vires on a tandem ? We have an oyster max, however you can get similar like candy peach I think.... or hauck is another brand unless your wanting the side by side ideally

I have this for my 10 week old & my 19 month old and I love it! I was worried that my newborn would be unsteady in it but it comes with an extra padded liner so he doesn’t go anywhere. And he loves it too x

Hey that’s the one I’ve ordered too for my newborn, I’m buying an insert for him but the pram lady reassured me that it’s safe for new borns even without so hoping that it’s good x

I've got the tandem version of this being delivered and bought the ickle bubba bassinet insert so he's a bit more protected ❤️ hoping I can see him over the hood too x

thank you! The other stroller I’m considering is the ickle bubba Venus because it has that bassinet insert that straps in, is that bassinet you’ve ordered for your Estrella? X

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

He use to sleep through the night now he is waking up every single night in the early morning, I've had to transition him to a toodler bed as he kept climbing out his cot. Just need some advice on what I can do to help him get back in to a sleep pattern?

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?
