Hello, we have done IVF twice, one fresh transfer, and this time round was our frozen embryo transfer.
We have been extremely lucky as both have been successful. Our fresh round was in 2022 where we got 5 embryos initially but only 2 viable ones in the end. We had one transferred then and now have a 2 year old, and had our frozen transfer in April this year and am expecting a little girl in Jan.
we initially went down the NHS route but unfortunately our referral took months as it was still during Covid so we ended up going down the private route. We used Care and can honestly say they are fantastic. We’ve had great experiences with them both times. Hope that helps x

Hey, We have done IVF, Nottingham hospital doesn't have the full capacity to do more complex IVF like ICSI, I believe they mainly do IUIs, so we were referred to a private clinic, they gave us a choice to which one we wanted, we went with CARE which were great and luckily we were successful first time. - it was all covered by the NHS (we did pay for CAREmaps but that was a personal choice).
