Newborn is nearly three weeks old and EBF, displaying some symptoms already such as congestion, reflux, redness, fussiness, mucus in poop, bits of green now and again and sometimes very runny. She is however gaining weight so the health visitor is happy. She’s often a bit blue around her mouth so has been referred to a speech therapist team to check milk is being correctly swallowed etc (she was born quickly, the blue was present at birth and they checked all her oxygen levels etc and all good). I have a 2 year old with CMPA allergy that was diagnosed at 15 months although the symptoms were present before that. I’m thinking to go dairy free immediately as BF but should I wait for a Dr appt first to discuss symptoms.

If you think your newborn is CMPA I would go dairy free to confirm your suspicions as it’s more likely than not that they are especially if your first one is allergic to milk as well x
