4D scan, Anterior Placenta, 26w GA

As 4D scan season is upon us, I thought I would post a couple from our 4D scan today of our baby boy 🥹💙 26w GA with the pesky anterior placenta

*Window to the womb recommends between 24-28 weeks for anterior placenta, so we booked at 26 weeks and was very happy with the images and video we got of buba*

It’s okay and awh that’s adorable 🥺 yeah it did help me I’ve been looking online but not really seen many posts of people around 26 weeks 🥺🥺🥺 I wasn’t sure when to book mine as I’m busy next couple of weeks so won’t make a scan then but wasn’t sure If 26 is too early as like you said you can have one all the way to 28 weeks. I’m so happy I booked it for at 26 weeks now so thank you mumma for sharing 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻xx

Lovely! Do you see the genitals much or can they avoid them at all? We are wanting one but really want the gender to be a surprise so are hesitant! Xx

amazing thank you, I had one years ago with my first but we knew the gender and were a lot earlier on in pregnancy! I’m 29 weeks now though and same as you with the anterior placenta - so I’ll give them a ring and see what they suggest - thank you ❤️

I had one with my first and didn’t know the gender. They were so careful that it stayed hidden from us and I was so glad after we had the scan xx

Would this be a red flag for a future/potential employer?

Have been communicating about interviewing for an open position via email. The hiring manager first responds at 9pm. I respond the next morning with availability for an interview. They don't respond the next day, so the following day I follow up. They don't respond that day or the next (yesterday), but then just replied at 10pm setting an interview time. J was annoyed that the communication was so delayed. And I was even more annoyed that I kept being emailed late at night. Is this a sign I don't want to work for them?

Vbac hope!

I had an emergency c-section and like most it just was the complete opposite of everything I had hoped my birthing experience would be like. I’d really to try for VBAC next time but absolutely petrified of uterine rupture… anyone else the same?

Anatomy scan

Got an anatomy scan today and a little late on the OBGYN stuff but getting caught up and my baby boy was trying to flip his feet over his head so that explains the jumps in my stomach and the pressure on my bladder!!! He also did a peace sign ✌️ sometimes during these visits it feel so surreal knowing a baby is growing inside of you!! 🤧

Prolapse??

I'm on my second pregnancy and had an episiotomy and stitches with my first. There was mention of an internal tear but no one gave me any details. This was 4.5 years ago and I often had sensations of feeling like there was a weight coming down and was a little lax with my pelvic floor exercises. I also used to experience a lot of discomfort with internal examinations and sometimes with intercourse but after healing up I no longer get this. Intercourse is easy now and continues to be enjoyable with no pain. I'm 28 weeks now and looked in a mirror the other day and can see a slightly smaller than pea sized lump sticking out the bottom of my vagina. Could this be a prolapse? Scar tissue? I'm not even sure who to discuss this with - is it a GP, midwife or consultant issue? Any advice would be appreciated please.
