Completely normal. I still have some numbness at 11 months pp, some people never loose it

I still feeling numb, about to be 6 weeks

Yes, completely normal. They sever a lot of the nerves in that area during the procedure, so you can end up with a complete lack of sensation around your scar. I’m just over 9 months post section and I’m only just starting to get feeling back in places. The nerves can take a while to fully heal.

I only recovered some sensitivity around 9 months after and 2 years later it's still not back to normal

Yes, normal, its 3.5 years since i had mine and is still a tiny abit numb on the scar. It can take any where from 6 months to years to heal properly

I still have slight numbness at 14 months pp ...

It’s normal. Your nerves were severed so numbness around a scar is normal. For some people it comes back early (I was back to normal sensation by about 9 months both times), for some it doesn’t. Depends how you are at healing xx

I hate this side effect. It makes me hate wearing pants! My child is three years old now and I just wear leggings or dresses. Jeans waistbands feel so weird on the numb parts. :(

I am almost 15 months postpartum and I still have a little numbness around my scar, above and below it. It gets better. I still can’t wear certain clothing if it hits my scar.

I didn’t believe the midwife when she said it would go away but it has. I think it took around a year. I did do scar massage now and again so not sure if that made a difference.

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
