when you see all these "perfect" bumps and yours looks like this

Still trying to feel confident with my bump I've tried moisturizing but doesn't seem to help. Any recommendations?

first and foremost, there is no such thing as a perfect bump. Remember a lot of people put on Photoshop for their pictures when they post the pictures of their belly. I personally have a bunch of scars on my belly from a prior surgery, but I do notice that my skin feels a lot better if I put some vitamin E with the cocoa butter that I moisturize my belly with

I use cocoa butter and cocoa butter oil. Also a collagen cream for stretch marks.

I use Bio oil and cocoa butter specifically for my stretch marks, morning and night. I also use baby oil after I shower and a regular body lotion. Have used baby oil for my entire life and I feel like it does a really great job at keeping my skin moisturized.

This looks like a perfect bump to me šŸ˜šŸ’• I got a ton of oils from Amazon from the brand cliganic and asked ChatGPT to make me a recipe lol. I also have pure cocoa butter that I rub on my tummy BUT the brand vivvi& bloom baby lotion actually has been life changing for me to help take away my eczema bumps on my arms and belly!

Second the bio oil-cocoa butter combo. Keeps your skin moisturized and supple all day. I never got stretch marks when I used this combo with my first baby years ago and kept using it after baby arrived as well and minimized my c-section scaring to where only a 1/3 of it is visible now. Even old scars have actually started fading (still there but not as visible)!

Def check with your doc though cause it does have added vit A but mine said the levels aren’t enough to cause concern.

Aside from the recommended products, do your best to embrace your baby bod… all shapes sizes bumps and wrinkles are a part of this process and nobody’s belly is perfect. Try tending to yourself more and getting into some self love. šŸ’• your belly is beautiful

Just a reminder, honeybees, stretch marks are genetically passed down. Don’t feel like your body isn’t perfect because for that little baby, you are their perfect match.ļæ¼ You can’t still try & prevent stretch marks but be proud of them because it’s a physical reminder what our amazing bodies can do!
I have my battle scars too but I do moisturize as much as I can. I used the Palmers stretch mark lotion with the healing therapy oil & had my fire belly too! This time around I’m using only 100% cocoa butter (can be found at a local beauty supply store or at an African shop) it’s soo nourishing & moisturizing, with hopes of being able to enjoy, what I think is the loveliest smell 🫶

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient šŸ˜‚šŸ„²

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
