Has anyone tried the mamia Aldi’s formula? Been using the aptamil formula for 3 months now and having to buy a new one every 6 days cause my babies on 6oz now and noticed Aldi’s is the similar packaging and more than half the price of aptamil. Thinking shall I swap but nervous too!

We tried it our son didn’t like it so we ended up back at aptamil

Just wouldn’t drink it? or upset him stomach ect? X

I spoke to a infant feeding specialist (private clinic) and she actually recommended Mamia, cow & gate or SMA little steps. She said something along the lines of our normal health visitors can’t reccomend anything but they are the formulas that have exactly what’s needed nutritionally where as a lot of other brands add other bits as well to compete with eachother and for marketing. But I haven’t tried any of the 3

My little one didn’t get on with it, it made her really constipated! X

My little girl is on Mamia and my 3 year old was also on Mamia. Never had any issues with either of them on it. My understanding is that there are strict guidelines regarding formula so it being cheaper doesn’t mean it’s not as good. We do our shopping at Aldi so it just made sense to pick up the formula from there in our weekly shop x

My baby was on aptamil and I transitioned to aldi and she was perfectly fine! It’s so much cheaper x

My little one didn’t get on with it she ended up with bad constipation too at around 2 months , she was ok with at as a newborn but then switched to Aptimil comfort x
