Noise complaint law

You’d like to go to the law to enforce your neighbor to not wash her clothes in her house when she has the time to do it?
You just admitted you’re the only one in your household disturbed by it. Quiet enjoyment is something you take up with your landlord regarding what you prefer. Noise decibels heard 100 feet away (consistent loud music) is what that law is for. There isn’t much you can do about people schedules when you live in an apartment

My previous downstairs neighbor and I once got into it because on a Saturday at 3PM, she knocked on my door to ask me to tell my 5 year old and her friend to stop playing dance dance revolution because her baby was sleep.

It’s a very delicate situation. You could talk to her, you could just on the humble be like Hey is there another time that you can run your machine, vibrates your floor and that’s all I hear at 2 AM. If not, it’s cool. I’ll have to live with it, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask
