Hey girlies, I’ve just installed the isofix & car seat and it feels really wobbly. But everything is showing that it’s secure in terms of the clicks going green. Does anyone else’s do the same thing?

A certain amount of wobble is normal, so it’s absorbs any impact. Once a baby is in there the weight will mean it wobbles less too. Is this seat meant to have the seatbelt round too?

That does look very wobbly. I would contact the manufacturer to ask. Or read the manual again

You can pop down to Halfords near you and they should be able to check it’s installed correctly but just remember your baby isn’t in it just yet to weight it down and also the wobble helps to absorb a bit of the impact if you were to have an accident like a seatbelt does x

You should check wobble from the base, not the top. Also, please do not go to Halfords for them to check it - they are NOT trained in car seat safety

You should be checking for a secure fit at the belt path, not at the handle. It is normal for there to be wobble at a spot not connected to anything. Make sure the seat is properly connected to the base and you should be good

Push the base back further into the seat or try pushing it down harder it should help a bit x

Pop a big squash in there and do the wobble from the actual seat and if it’s still quite wobbly maybe take a look to the manufacturer x

Please do not go to halford they know nothing about Carseat saftey ! I’d go back to your retailer for a fit check or post in car seat saftey group uk as this looks very wobbly
