Is it just me or are vacations sometimes more stressful than just staying home?
From packing everything. cleaning the house. Finding hotels or air bnbs that are baby/toddler friendly. Finding something everyone will eat. Finding activities that are baby/toddler friendly. I feel like a hot mess everywhere we go and vacations just sometimes feel like more work than they are worth. Although it is nice to get out of the house.

My daughter is 2 and she’s already been to 7 countries and 40+ flights. My 5 month old has been to 3 countries. We pack really light - I mean just a carry on backpack each. We plan our trips 4-8 months in advanced so we can find the best deals and revise the itinerary multiple times. We do most of the things we want to do and our 2 year old and 5 month old just tag along. These last 2 trips we’ve had to find playgrounds for our daughter to play at once in a while to get her energy out but other than that they’re super adaptable and are great travelers. We throw their diets out the window when we travel just to make it easier on everyone. Some days she’ll just eat French fries and we’re ok with that. We always offer her tons of snacks. If she’s hungry she’ll eat whatever we’re eating. Plan early and try to be adaptable.

I find holidays a lot of hassle too. Same work in a different location with the added hassle of packing. It's nice when you're away and doing fun things, but even more exhausting than normal life

Yesss totally agree especially with having 2 under 2! It’s like is it even worth leaving the house 🤣
