I feel divided, i havent tried any other one. At the time it just got stuck in my head that i wanted the babybjorn one because well, tiktok. Dint get me wrong, i love it, but its also nothing special for the price. I think any other one does the job

I got Bjorn second hand for £10 so deffo get if you can get second hand, I wouldn't pay full price for it x

I didn’t get one but we were given a couple of chairs , so we will eventually just rotate between them or allow other babies to use them when they are over .

A bouncer, yes. Specifically one that may be out of your price range, no. The inexpensive Fisher Price ones with the toy bar are just as effective as the more expensive ones that play songs and vibrate

We got one for 30 quid off market place and both babies loved it. We used it sooooo much that for us in hindsight we would have got it new.
I would just keep looking on marketplace for sure. Likely that one will

We bought this one and it’s so nice / aesthetically pleasing fits into our living room too. It’s nice and compact too. Same idea as the Bjorn https://mybabiie.com/products/oatmeal-reclining-baby-bouncer

Highly highly recommend the Maxi Cosi Kori bouncer. My daughter loved this and we used it until she was a year old. Very similar to the baby bjorn one. I found it excellent quality and you could remove and wash all of the inserts, it was excellent

Autism

I have been noticing everyone I know that as a boy 2-5 years has been diagnosed with autism. Has anyone else noticed this or maybe I’m just noticing this out of concern for my 10 month old boy.

Swing or bassinet

We've been co-sleeping/bed-sharing with our one month old (5 weeks tomorrow) since she and I came home from the hospital. While I love the cuddles I do want our bed back too. I will add too, that we try to make it as safe as possible and want her in a safe situation. She doesn't like sleeping by herself, however we've been putting her in her swing (pic below) close to daily, since she came home and at first she only liked it for a few minutes, now it could be an hour, before she protests, asleep or awake! She likes the music and rocking motion it seems and seems fascinated by the mobile when she's awake and not sleepy. We can probably get her used to the bassinet in a similar way, but I'm wondering if we should just get two of these? My husband says the music would drive him crazy, lol, but we could just do it with white noise and see if it has the same effect. He's saying it's probably good for her to learn how to sleep in different conditions. I do agree, as our older daughter can't take naps at friends' houses and stuff. Just not sure of the best route here. Anyway tia!

How often is your baby waking up in the night?

My baby is 5 months old and waking up every 3 hours. Some nights he could do a 4 hour stretch and some he would do just 2. It’s a bit all over the place to be honest. Is it normal for so many wake ups at this age? What is everyone else’s baby doing?

How do you cosleep?

I know all about sleep safe 7, the dangers of cosleeping etc etc, but there seems to be a huge difference between online and people I meet in real life. Most people I know report cosleeping, but online its villainised more.
No judgement here - I'm just genuinely curious what people are actually doing!

Comments if its something different.

Our baby has her own cot. She sleeps well in it until early morning and then only sleeps if shes on/next to me. I'll also admit to having fallen asleep breastfeeding several times (no lectures, she's safe - but other people have said they've done the same).
