My daughter has been saying her abcs since she was 15 months old, knows over 150 words, can name shapes and know what they are, can count to 10 (she counted her toesðŸ˜), she recognizes most letters and colors, memorizes songs. And just seems really smart for her age. I was wondering if this is normal?

Sounds like Baby Einstein. My kid hasn’t said his first word yet and he’s almost 17 months. He’s behind but your kid is on the opposite end of the spectrum.

Omgg whats your trick? That’s amazing

This is amazing!! My 17 month old chats all day long he’s a little parrot and says more words than I’ve counted and sings a few song lines not perfect but definitely can tell he knows them, but when it comes to abcs and counting he turns off his ears lol !

Girl that means you are doing a great job !

She’s extremely smart! Most 17 month olds have words but their conversations are still babbles.

Thats amazing

Yay! My 16 month old is the same. I think Ms Rachel definitely helps, but the book reading is where it gets honed. When we're reading books I'll ask her questions about what she sees (animals and sounds, shapes, items, etc.) I think it also helps she has a 3 year old sister.

I know people frown on TV and screen time, but it helps. My little one counted to 14 today during toy cleanup. We’re still working on the ABCs. It sounds like you have a baby genius on your hands.

My girl doesn’t know the abcs, but i can tell she’s trying. When she sings it, it’s the syllables and i can kinda tell what she’s trying to say. And the same goes for counting!

Genius baby
