Sick newborn

Hey all, I am in need of support! My little boy is 9 days old, he woke up on Friday sounding congested in his nose and we were sucking up some thick greenish boogers. We took him to the pediatrician and they checked his o2 and sent us to the ER. Doctors are suspecting bronchiolitis but he tested negative for RSV. He’s been on low levels of o2 for the last two days and we are being told that this will likely get worse before it gets better (which has my anxiety in overdrive waiting for the shoe to drop). I’m spiraling absolutely kicking myself for letting my baby get sick so early on. Has anyone encountered this with a baby this little? Was the outcome okay? I am just panicked and would love to hear some positive stories from similar situations.

Thanks!

My cousin's baby had Covid a little younger and all the symptoms: she was fine when she healed up! And your little boy is getting the antibodies and care from you. Sending healing prayers!
