Hiya, my daughter is 27 months and we’ve started potty training this week. She seems to be a camel and isn’t going for wees. I’ve tried offering her water, milk, yogurt etc , but she appears to be holding it in until nap time when she wears a nappy. This is the same with poop.
She also seems very anxious of the potty. She often refuses to sit on it. I’ve tried songs, reading books, offering rewards and it’s not working. Is she not ready? Should I try again in a couple of months. Any advice would be appreciated.

Oh crap would say that she is ready but anxious I think.

We got some great re-useable discs the changed colour to show a picture when they are wee'd on (it's actually the heat that makes them change). You can get them with different themes to reflect your child's interests. They helped with ours by engaging his curiosity about what the picture would be when he did a pee in the potty this time (we swapped them round).
