What are we really doing?

Im half and half. I want mom friends, i need friends. But i dont have the true energy. There's an app called peanut thats basically tinder for mom friends!

I don’t think anyone is really looking for a genuine friend now a days it’s only for convenience and that’s why most are lonely because you actually have to put work into a friendship and most people don’t want to.

I want friends but right now I'm just so overwhelmed and exhausted I don't have the mental bandwidth to hold conversations. I'm hoping in a couple of years it will get better when the chaos calms down a little.

Again you can do that with a friend not by yourself and by doing this you have to set aside some time even 5 mins to connect with a friend be open and honest and tell them the situation your in and if they really care to have a friendship with you they will understand

I really want friends, it’s always been my dream to build my own village because I don’t really have family… But boy do ppl suck 🫠 and you can’t expect ppl to love you how you love them.

I came on here looking for friends. In 5yrs I’ve met up w about 14 mums? The last one was nearly a year ago and and I’m still seeing her and chatting to her every couple days (plus another mum I met 3m before her) so I haven’t tried harder recently in finding connections coz I’m putting effort in the ones I’ve made already. We’re going to a festival in 2 weeks we regularly meet up and do stuff w the kids and without, as well.
