My boy is 7 weeks old and in his wake windows he is very often crying so we don’t get chance to do many activities. I feel like I’m failing him. Health visitor said he’s fine and healthy but he never seems happy

Between 6-8 weeks babies crying peaks! They do cry less and it does get easier.
All he really wants at this stage is you, so cuddles will be doing him wonders.
He’ll tell you when he wants to do more stuff so don’t worry, you’re deffo not failing him.
You can only do so much so don’t worry.

As Helen said, 6-8 weeks is the peak of crying, and they still need to sleep a lot. Our LO is now 4 months old, and crying is a lot less and wake windows a lot longer to do activities.
