Anxious

My baby girl turned into breech position at 36 weeks (last week) and my head is spinning with all the potential scenarios. Is this because of something I did or didn’t do? Is there something wrong with my baby? Why did she turn around so late into the pregnancy? Will she be ok?

Breathe. It's ok. Babies often know more than us. My baby turned at around 37/38 weeks after being head down the whole time. You may never know why. My baby was born at home, complete breech, on her due date. I don't know why she turned breech - could be my pelvis, could be other reasons. Just make sure you have a supportive provider (they are not easy to find). Breech without borders was my go to and I learned so much. They also have a list of providers that support vaginal breech birth

Thank you ladies, I think it’s just my hormones playing tricks on me (and generally being anxious and having a lot on my plate this past month)
I shall take some deep breaths as I visualise cuddling my first baby

She will be fine! My baby was breech from 28 weeks and never turned, I had a planned c section as I didn’t want the stress or pressure of trying to turn her. I just went with what was best for us both and took it as it came. Just try to relax, it happens, it’s normal and the midwives deal with this daily xx

Mine turned at 37 weeks then turned back the next day..then went sideways a few days later! They said it was because she was small so had more room to move. Absolutely nothing you did wrong xx
