My little one is 5 months and we're currently 4 weeks into the 4 month regression. It's exhausting! She wakes every hour at night if not sooner, mostly settling quicker if I stick her back on the boob (think she'd happily stay there all night tbh 🤣).
I know there's quite a few posts about this but just wondering how everyone got through it / different techniques as ive read all sorts online re advice etc. I've tried putting her in her next to me awake but drowsy to see if she will go to sleep herself / with minimal input but she just gets too upset and im not one for leaving her crying. Been trying to put her down for her naps in her cot as she's definitely more of a contact napper but the only way she goes down is if she's in a deep sleep. And it's still only for 30mins!
Advice please on whether to persevere with self settling or just ride it out with the hopes it gets better?

Lol in same boat 🤣

I havent tempted the self settle really.
Ive just carried on with either boob or rocking to sleep wait 10/15 mins then put him down im going to just ride it out to hopefully one day he will self settle hahaha

Same boat! I've tried "teaching" to self settle but honestly it's completely futile and I think they're too young to learn this?

In the same boat, I feel like it’s been about 6/7 weeks of it 😖
I just boob back to sleep or rock. We have resulted in alot of co sleeping which I did with my first, so I’m not mad about it but he used to do about 7 hour stretches in his beside me cot. I just can’t believe how much it changes😵💫.
Also can’t do the leave them to self settle, doesn’t feel right for me and he just doesn’t go to sleep🤦🏽♀️🤣

I'd certainly say just cosleep like you're doing. Next do some amazing fluffy onesies so I really don't miss the duvet currently because I'm so toasty in them. As you say though, the more you do it the more you'll get used to it. I've had to do it with LO since she was a few weeks old, it's a bit easier now she's bigger but she does seem to want to hog the bed more these days.

Anyone else’s little one also heavily refusing naps?? He’s got SO wriggly that he takes forever to fall asleep as he’s flailing all over the place, arms and legs everywhere. Hes so calm until lights go out and he knows it’s nap time and then boom!

We’re in the same position. My little boy will not sleep in his crib for more than 30 mins without waking and that’s if I can even transfer him over in the first place. I BF him to sleep as if I try to put him down awake he kicks off. If you find a magic routine let me know
