Hi girls, if anyone has used the frida mom c section products, how did you find them? Is it worth it or is it just marketing sham?

Pants were worth it and pads

I didn't open my Frida mumma stuff.
I had a Pico dressing and bought unscented maternity pads which I lived in. And bought cotton massive pants which I've lived in.

Not nessicarily a C section product but I loved their postpartum catch all pads for the first few days
Has anyone used the silicone scar patch thing?

I did yeah and still using them at nearly 5 months postpartum. They make me feel protected and they flatten the area (and help with scar formation to avoid keloids). My scar is really smooth and flat, I have full sensitivity in the area and a very little overhang. I’m combining the patches with scar massages too (check online for tips). Both need to be used/done when the scar is fully healed on the outside.
I’ve also used Frida belly binder before the patches and it helped with posture and pain. I recommend it but in conjunction with massages. There is a whole world online and lots of c-section gurus on social media. I was shocked when I discovered that 😆
Shame the NHS doesn’t mention anything on this type of care which could really help the overall look and feeling. Scar massaging is essential. I’ve been reading that people have no sensitivity in the area after years! 😱
I started from the very beginning with some tapping on the area to get sensitivity back…

I honestly waited 8 weeks. Went to my 6 weeks check up and asked there. The GP told me to wait an extra 2 weeks (so a total of 8 weeks) to be on the safer side. I healed with no issues but at first it’s recommended to keep the scar aired and dry so the patch might not be ideal so soon but ask the GP at 6 weeks. I would start gently tapping above the scar and around to get sensitivity back (check online about scar massaging and how to start slowly). This is my advice after LOTS of reading but ofc feel free to do what makes you feel comfortable;)

Super helpful! Thank you so much
