Still not showing any signs of labor!

Im 40 weeks and 2 days, Still haven’t had any contractions and I barely have like maybe 3-5 Braxton hicks through out the whole day. Still haven’t lost my mucus plug or had a bloody show. Did y’all go into labor still?

Go for a massage. with my oldest I went for a massage and by the time I left I was in labor. Also sex can help. Good luck mama!

Massage your feet and ankles, look up pressure points for inducing labor, do miles circuit, especially sleeping or laying sideways with two pillows stacked between the legs. If all fails, sex is a good way to induce labor. I didn't have contractions, my water broke at 4am 40+2 and then my midwives told me i had to take castor oil to start contractions because there was the risk of infection since I lost my water. I gave birth the next day at noon. Good luck!! Dont stress it even up to 42 weeks is normal

It’s okay I don’t lose my mucus plug until week 41 weeks three days before I gave birth. The blood didn’t come until the day of delivery. I just noticed that this post is from 30 & older moms.

I’ve tried everything walking, sex, yoga ball, stretches, squats, mile circuit, foot massages and acupuncture and nothing plus I’ve been working this whole time too. 😭 I only have til Tuesday then I get induced but I don’t want that to happen! 💔

I had to get induced at 40 and 5 so… yeah lol. Good luck. I had what I thought were contractions for a month before. The only reason they induced was because my blood pressure was elevated.

I literally did everything to try and induce naturally.

I got induced at 41+4

My sister in law told me to try yoga. I did and within a day I started having contractions. I was 39 weeks and a few days.

My baby came naturally at 41 weeks 5 days and the labor and delivery was just fine. You don’t HAVE to get induced to have a safe delivery. Not sure if you feel comfortable not showing up to the induction or just keep pushing it back but I can’t imagine that you wouldn’t have the right to do what you feel is right for you and your baby

Still nothing yet ladies had some painful contractions last night so hoping maybe my body is doing something im not against the induction tho I know baby should come on its own but mentally and physically I can not go any longer

I was induced because I didn’t have enough fluid left and they told me to leave the doctor and go to the hospital. They will send you at some point if you don’t go into labor naturally.
Good luck mama

I’m 33weeks and lost my mucus last week with bloody show and on off it’s still coming out of my body like old brown blood. I went to hospital and was checked physical and they said there’s still alot of mucus and I shouldn’t be taking stress. Every body is different darling you doing great and you gonna be soon in labour. Just be mentally prepared and keep the baby bag ready in car. 🥴❤️

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

Baby Movements

Hello, I’m a FTM currently 18W5D pregnant. I’ve been getting this tugging feeling in my stomach after I eat, it’s uncomfortable but not painful. I don’t know whether that’s the baby moving or round ligaments pain.

I’ve also been getting round ligament pain which is either a sharp stabbing pain or a stretching sensation. These happens whether or not I’ve eaten while the tugging feeling is only after I’ve eaten.

So, could the tugging feeling be the baby or something else.

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.
