Is getting a double stroller really worth it for a 2y5m age gap? We rarely use our normal stroller as is, I think we used it last for a zoo trip in September. I’d love a double stroller in concept but I just don’t know how much sense it makes with a toddler who already wants to walk now at 22 months

I have a two year age gap, bought a double stroller for a couple hundred dollars, used it less than a handful of times, and sold it on marketplace for $80. It was a waste for us

My youngest will be 2 and a half when 3rd baby is born in January and we haven't bought a double pram. She prefers walking a lot now anyway and if I put her in pram I will baby wear baby.
We have bought a buggy board though for when she gets tired legs

Get a buggy board that's what I have for my 1 year old and 4 year old when we go on long walks

I think it depends on your toddler - we had an 18 month age gap so definitely needed one, and now with our eldest being almost 3 we still use the double multiple times a week.

I’d get a wagon, put the car seat in it and then toddler can go in and out if needed. I also have a 2.5 yo and wer rarely use our stroller anymore but I borrowed my dad’s wagon for some zoo/park/pool trips this summer and decided I needed one cuz it was soooooo convenient! We used it for trick or treating too!

I have a 20 month gap and we use it all the time! Life saver

I was thinking of getting a wagon instead of a double stroller. I will have a 3-year age gap give or take a month or two depending on when the baby comes but my oldest wants to be carried or walk right now. I think he might get jealous if we have a stroller just for the baby. Plus he’s heavy 😅. I’m going to wait until the baby is 6 months old before buying one.

I think a wagons best, more about the things you need to carry around with a toddler and newborn then the kiddos themselves, grocery shopping, beach trips etc… we also live in Florida so not having my stroller with a toddler even now is not an option, the heat is draining

If you’re worried about price vs how much you’ll actually use it I would suggest looking on market place or at second hand shops! Much cheaper for the same item so then if you don’t use it much there wasn’t much money wasted!

I got a double that also turns into a single as I will be having the same age gap! My son is going through a stage of running away so I wanted it to so I could put him somewhere safe, as well as for long days such as zoo trips!
