Why the silent D

I'm all for unique but I'm not fan for either gender but it's really whether you as the parents like it. I've seen the name Desire spelt with an x before, each to their own.

I've seen Dylan as a boy or girl

If you are looking for a girl's name that starts with D and has an X in it, how about
Dixie, Daxtyn, Dexlee, Daxia, Dreuxla, Daxene, Devereaux ?

"The D is silent" makes me think of Django 😂😅

I have a friend named Dax. Less complicated.. fits the rules

I don’t think its a name at all 😅

Maybe changing the spelling to Djaxynne would make it more feminine?

What about Jacqueline

This poor child will forever be dealing with no one knowing how to say or spell their name.

That spelling will cause problems for either gender. I also don't feel Jaxon/Jackson is unisex, so I'd say no.
What are your other kids names?

I usually like unique names and uniquely spelled names but something about the Dj and the y makes it look very clunky and weird I don’t know, what about:
Dixie
Knoxley/Knox/Knoxlyn
Devereaux
Druex
Daxtyn
Kyndrix
Dexter
Kroix
Kalix/Kalyx/Kalex
Dixon
Kalixsta
Kendryx

Never thought of that 🤣🙈

Please for the love of god, don’t do this. They will forever deal with amending documents due to spelling errors even if they spell their name to people a million times.
