38 weeks no sign of labor

I don’t know if any of you are experiencing this but when I was 34 weeks I started having early labor symptoms and now that I am 38 weeks they’re all gone. Should I be worry or is my body actually recharging for when I’ll go into active labor ?

38 weeks pregnant tomorrow with my first child and have been wondering the same. I haven’t had any Braxton hicks contractions or anything else

at my 37 week appointment, they told me I was an early labor and I’ve known since 34 weeks that I was but his baby does not wanna come out😭 i guess he decided he’s comfortable being inside😭

I had no signs of labor with my first but didn’t think much of it. Went in to get induced and found out she was breached 😑.

I had no signs until my first contraction at 6am at 41 weeks, also my water broke in the hospital

I’m literally in the same boat rn. Was having soooo many Braxton hicks for a while, but these past couple weeks I haven’t had much. 39weeks tomorrow. Fingers crossed I don’t have to be induced😬

We have up until 42w to go into labour and give birth without any inductions, my second baby was born at 42w. Your early labour signs back then might’ve been severe Braxton hicks and not actually, contractions. Wait it out I’m sure baby will come in the next couple weeks

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
