I’m 8 weeks pregnant and also have a 16 months old that obviously doesnt listen and is very cheeky. He walks but he won’t move from where he wants to be even though you tell him he can’t be doing that because is not safe which forces me to be lifting him regularly because I have no choice. Since last night is causing me cramps and stomach pain, I don’t know what to do as we live in a very unfriendly house for a toddler ( we are about to move soon) and I can’t just let him be because is not safe!!
Am I hurting the baby? I have no one to ask for help

Baby is protected by your uterus and womb as there so small and tiny and women have been lifting there toddlers for centuries while pregnant so you should be okay if the cramps get worse almost as your in agony then I suggest going to get it checked out and make sure your okay and baby is okay. But I’m 5 weeks and I’ve got a 13 month old that is very clingy and doesn’t like being put down so I’ve gotten used to switching hips when one side gets aching or I sit on the floor instead of picking him to kind off distract him from the picking up idea, I know it might delay the day or what your doing but it works like a charm for us.
