Went in for an induction yesterday at 41 weeks. The interventions they did were not successful and they sent us home. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

I’d say I had a failed induction, I had a procedure done in 2021 that apparently resulted in scar tissue which was preventing me from dilating. We were given 3 options and chose a c-section after 26 hours

My induction took 53 1/2 hours and ended with a C-section because my two epidurals didn’t work and I couldn’t bare it natural.

Yup! My induction just failed after 2 rounds of cervidil. I was only 1/2cm dilated, so I got a c-section. The actual surgery was surprisingly smooth! Recovery is hard, so have lots of support♡
I asked for a c section and I was told I wasn’t a candidate and got sent home 😭 just want to meet my baby.

Yes because they probably want you to wait. Just wait until you're at least 41+3 and then you'll be a candidate. I started induction at 41+3 and had her at 41+5.
thank you! Heading back today so hopefully I get to see my baby soon 😓
