Wanna hear something funny?

I am a pregnant grandma, thought just hit me right now! My husband has a 21 y.o that became a father in July, and I am unexpectedly pregnant now. This whole thing just keeps getting harder and harder to wrap my head around 😕

As wild as this sounds...being a mom is such a blessing and you should only see it this way. The babies will be close in age which is amazing!!! Dont try to make sense of it. You and your husband are on your own journey and this baby is part of your journey now. Enjoy it as much as you can 😊

My grandma was pregnant with her youngest when her eldest was pregnant. Cousin Gary and Uncle Dale. They were roommates in college and really leaned into it. Gary called Uncle Dale "Uncle Dale" and they thought it was so funny.

My fiancé is a year old than his uncle! His dad was 20 when he was born and his grandad had another son (his dad’s brother) a year later. It’s not as uncommon as you think 😅

I’m 30 and my mom was pregnant with twins when I had my baby and she came to visit me with her belly bump and she was very ok with that and didn’t care 😄😄 the kids are growing together with my daughter and it’s ok

My partners eldest is 21 also (Although she doesn't have children yet) and my eldest is 17. But it's nice to see how common it is, because I'm pregnant and was feeling old and worried about age gaps etc. I keep seeing the meme on insta that says I'm going to pick up my kids and they'll say 'your grandma's here' 🤣 but I'm over it now. I went to the ultrasound fell in love and cant wait for my blessing to arrive 💗 good luck xx

Did you enjoy labor & delivery?

I’m 8 weeks pp now and I often lay here thinking about the day I gave birth to my baby and I miss it so much. I loved the whole experience. The excitement of being induced and knowing I was getting my baby soon. Having my waters broken and hearing he has lots of hair & then the actual pushing and getting him out. I’ll never be able to explain the feeling of seeing him for the first time an all the love I felt. And that first cry 😢

I wish I could relive it all again. I mourn it so much. When I’m old and lonely I’ll come back there and relive it In my head over and over 🤍

Help! Braxton Hicks or Early Labour?

I am 37 weeks + 6 and haven’t slept from a constant pulling sensation in my stomach.. it doesn’t hurt but there’s a strong sensation in my uterus and every time it happens, my baby wiggles or moves and she feels really really low.. each tightening lasts about 5-10 seconds only and they vary 2 mins - 30 mins apart. I’m so uncomfortable as it’s been constant for over 14 hours, I can’t sleep because everytime I rest, it pulls and tightens…. Will I be meeting my baby soon or is this likely Braxton hicks??? It hasn’t got worse, it’s just maintained a steady feeling. Xx

We're all in it together!

36+4 with baby boy number 2, feeling so fed up and poorly.. so heavy and fatigued. I'm thankful for this community knowing I'm not alone in this final (painfully long) stretch before baby arrives! 😴😴

Question

Trying to figure out if I’m due November or December 😂

My second pregnancy and found out I’m 5 weeks 4 days today! Big shock to the system as we have a 20 month old but so grateful at the same time! Any mums around the same gestation as me and your due dates? I know it’ll change etc by 12 week scan but curious! I conceived on the 10th march 😆

Anyone else on this stage of postpartum?

Laughing because wtf. No amount of anything will get this horn and sideburn tamed and when I do, the Florida humidity will make it come up in an hour. 🥲tired of wearing hats when I don’t want to wear my hair down… i miss doing a cute slick back look

Prenatals

So since I’ve been taking my prenatal my belly hasn’t been doing well. Like I get so sick from it. I don’t get nauseous i literally cannot throw up but I have other issues with my prenatal and I get so bloated from it. Would it be terrible if I just stopped taking my prenatal? I’m 22 weeks almost 23. Or does anyone have a good recommendation?
