Really I have never heard of false positives with them. I used the ones that cost like 2 dollars at the dollar store.

I see two lines- wait a couple days and take another. It’ll probably get darker then if ur pregnant

I’ve never had a problem with these tests and the ones that report issues, yours doesn’t look like that at all. You’re pregnant.

In response to your false positive comments, its possible you had what's called a chemical pregnancy. Its an early miscarriage between 3-5 weeks. Most people don't even know they are pregnant at that point. Its typically marked by a positive test (usually on a low threshold HCG test) and then a negative test in a few days or weeks.
Early reaponse tests have indicators as low as 10 mIU/ml where most others require at 25.

When it happened to me I got a positive on the early test, but not on a regular test. I kept testing for a few days and the line didn't get darker. Then I started bleeding like a period and my doctor ordered a blood test. I had really low HCG on the first and even lower on the second indicating I had a chemical pregnancy.

False positives are incredibly rare and often and indication something else is not working properly in your body. Most likely what happened is an egg was fertilized and started to implant, but it didn't work quite right.

The good news is if thats the case it means you can get pregnant. And your test definitely looks positive.

I got pregnant the cycle after my chemical and we have our first ultrasound tomorrow with no obvious symptoms of anything being wrong this time.

You are definitely pregnant!! What dpo are you? I’d just keep testing to see if the tests get darker every 48-72 hrs.

I’ve had 2 chemical miscarriages in a row and my lines didn’t get very dark over a few days. I did end up getting blood tests to confirm on the second one as they wouldn’t do them until I’d had a “history of loss”.
