Hey y’all, what is everyone doing to get out of the house with the real tiny littles this winter? I was doing baby storytime once a week at main library, but now it’s closed for renovations, so I’ll have to find a new branch for that. I was thinking possibly the science center but idk if my 9.5 month old is too young to enjoy it. Also heard of the Glow worm play cafe but curious if anyone has tried it / if it’s worth the trip? So many programs are scheduled during the traditional workday which is frustrating so I’ve got to find things outside of the norm for the most part. Open to all recommendations please and thank you 🤗

Honestly at that age, just getting out is enough!!
Hear me out though- pet stores and humane societies!!! Just walking around, looking at the fish tanks and chatting to the animals.. big hit with both of my girls
I’ve not been but have heard good things about playground Abode! Looks cute for that age and beyond
Post Christmas- does St Matthew’s mall still have that small play area?? You could go to browse but also let baby play
Ive heard really good things about Glow worm. I’m from Louisville but don’t currently live there so haven’t been personally- but always see it suggested
Book stores sometimes host story hours too if you have any nearby you can check with!!!
As for the rest, sometimes I think just chancing things to reacclimate with society is worth it lol hit up a coffee shop etc! Sometimes they have little games, or you can bring one and let baby cruise along a chair or couch while you allow yourself a treat 🥰
