If you've had one can you share your experience with a c section? I'm having my second CS in April but with my first I didn't have an anterior placenta.

I had an emergency csection with my first & had anterior placenta - no issues involved!
I also have anterior placenta now with my 2nd and having an elective csection - it dosnt pose any issues as far as i know🥰

I had a planned c section with an anterior placenta - no issues for me! Just a regular c section haha!

No issues planned c section

I have a low lying anterior placenta and they had no issues with my emergency c section.

I had an emergency c section and an anterior placenta and I was fine with no complications. My c section experience was so good I might do an elective one if I ever decide to have more

I had retained placenta but I don’t think it being anterior was the problem

I’ve had two sections, one was with an anterior placenta baby and one with a posterior placenta baby.
Zero difference to the experience. No complications, textbook surgery, up and walking that night and easy recoveries.
The position of the placenta isn’t an issue xx

I don’t even fully understand the question haha. No issues!

Emergency C-section due to placenta abruption, no issues surgery wise. Recovery was amazing. Up and walking that night. Opting to have a scheduled c-section with current pregnancy.

I had a scheduled C-section and an anterior placenta. I did have a little bleeding, but that was less the anterior placenta and more the vascularization of my uterus (I have fibroids).
I didn't need any blood transfusions, but I did have to receive some iron through my IV line. It unfortunately blew out my last usable vein the second day I was supposed to receive it, so after talking to my obgyn, it was decided I was probably okay and that was that!
It really wasn't bad at all, my placenta was not in the way in case you were worried about that.

Didn't know it could cause any issues. I had an emergency section due to preeclampsia at 37 when my induction failed to progress. No one said the position was a problem so I assume it wasn't. Recovered great.

I had a low lying anterior placenta, had an emergency c section but no issues related to the placenta

I dont understand the question but I had a selective / last minute c section with my daughter at 37 weeks+4 days due to.havjng complications I had low ion and had ion infusion and preclamcia but it was a scary experience delivery went smoothly and recovery was hard due to the surgery and in the high dependency ward on iv machine due to blood pressure but thankfully I had some amazing doctors now 7 weeks till my second is due and opting for a repeat c section
