Second pregnancy

Hello second time mothers, when did you inform about pregnancy at your work place in second pregnancy? I mean it seems like it is visible in my case so dont know till when I can hide this belly. I am in my first trimester right now.

I think it depends on your boss and your work place. I told mine right around the end of the first trimester because she knew my miscarriage history already

I told them around 16 weeks (I was nannying so it gave the family plenty of time to look for another arrangement for when I’d be leaving but also gave me a few months to process the pregnancy without feeling the need to rush to tell people!). Technically no one’s allowed to ask for discrimination purposes and as long as you give them enough of a heads up before mat leave (I think it’s 6 weeks?? I’m not sure of the requirement) it’s more than fair. Many wait until they have at least the required hours (600 or so) to make sure they have a security net in case anything happens (like needing to take time off due to their doctor/midwife asking them to go on bed rest, etc). As long as your job is safe to do while pregnant (like not an X-ray tech or working in construction) it’s really up to you

Young mum

Hi guys,

I’m just wondering if there’s any other young parents that are getting further into their pregnancy and like, genuinely just clocking that I’m gonna be responsible for a baby and I don’t know everything their is to know about baby’s I feel like I’m gonna be so useless and accidently be the worst mum in the world 🫣

Does anyone else feel like this? Or felt like this? I’m 19 and genuinely have so much anxiety about this now I’m 20 weeks lol

So annoyed, dog jumped on me :( now I’m anxious

I have a big dog and she NEVER jumps.. today I came home and my mum was with me visiting and my dog must have just got over whelmed and she jumped and ended up scratching my lower back,

with that I’ve bent backwards almost and stretched my lower belly and it didn’t hurt as such just felt like tha shock ligament pain but ofc I haven’t actually bent that far since being pregnant and now I just feel anxious really and just need some reassurance. It only happened about 15 mins ago and I have felt baby a little since

But why is there always something to worry about!😭
