My little one is 4 months tomorrow. I’ve just had to put him into the seat part of our Silvercross Pioneer Pram as due to his length he’s too long for the bassinet.
When do others change them over..? I’ve checked online and it says if they have outgrown or have good head control.

What Silvercross have you got? We've had our little boy in the 'big boy seat' of the Reef 2 since he was just before 3 months old, as he's the nosiest boy and I felt sorry for him staring at the sky, haha! The Silver Cross instructions stated that the seat can be from newborn, but obviously, when it's laid flat. We sit him up halfway and haven't used the full-on seated position yet, as his head is still a little wobbly! X

My little one was 4 months December 13th and she's been out of her carrycot for a while..she's a chunk and hates laying flat 🤣🤣

My little one was 4 months when I changed him over - purely as he started disliking the bassinet and wanted to see out more. I just made sure the seat was reclined until he had better head control. Check the specifications of yours as as long as it lies flat it should be okay. I have the nuna Mixx next which is suitable from birth but I did also ring the head office to double check as was very anxious about swapping it

My girl is lean and long like your boy, I changed her into a seat a long time ago (she is nosy and the seat is in half laying position) but at home I still put her into the bassinet to sleep
