Pre Elective section appt

I think they talk you through the process and consent forms and they either book you for your pre op and op date or send to admin to confirm it.
Pretty casual tbh.

Usually to talk about what will happen? Gives you the opportunity to ask questions.
Sign consent form for the procedure.
The date is usually done through a central booking system so you should get the date separately from that appointment.

I just had mine in October and it was a fantastic experience. Hope yours is too x

I just had my consultant appt today. The dr spoke about the risks etc, I am pretty adamant that I’ll be having a c-section but I guess she had to do her part trying to convince me to go vaginal.. in the end agreed and we went through consent forms.

Urine test, Doppler and BP monitoring. MRSA swabbing, then booked in a pre-op and c-section date!
