Hello to all the mommas 🤍

I’m really struggling right now and I feel like I might be depressed.

To explain briefly: I lived in the UK for seven years. I got married there, and after finishing our studies and having our baby, my husband and I returned to our home country. This move wasn’t easy for me. I wasn’t emotionally ready to leave the UK, but my husband’s job, life, and opportunities are here, and the situation there made staying impossible.

In the UK, our life was quiet and simple. It was just me, my husband, and our baby. I had my own routine, my own space, and a sense of independence. I felt calm and grounded.

Now, living close to family and in-laws has been overwhelming. There are constant expectations, rules to follow, and little personal space. Everyone knows every detail of our lives. I feel like I have to be present all the time, even when I need a break. Even when I go out, I’m rarely alone. There’s no quiet, no routine, and no sense of privacy.

Because of this, I feel constantly stressed, uncomfortable, and unhappy. I miss my old life deeply. I feel lost, like my life is no longer mine. I’ve had to put my dreams, my space, and my emotional needs aside, and I don’t know how to find myself again in this new reality.

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?
