Sleep

Does any one else’s little one still not sleep through the night, mine has never been a good sleeper since birth and I’m exhausted with him waking once or twice a night for milk, health visitor said he will eventually sleep through and not want milk in the night 🥱

My little boy still doesn’t sleep through doesn’t have milk though - can wake a minimum of 2-3 times per night up to every hour and then be up from 5am (sometimes 3-4am or if lucky from 6am) 🥲 I’ve been told it’s normal and some don’t need as much sleep as others

My boy has never slept for more than 5 hours at a time lol. I co sleep and bf but it’s still exhausting. Always in agony with my back having to lay on the same side every night and if I move he wakes up screaming 🤣🥴

Same. She doesn’t need milk in the night but drinks water. She goes to bed at 7 after a min of 2 hours no screen time. She’ll drift off 7.30/7.45 and then wake up 3 times in a good night, a bad night could be 8-10. Wakes up typically 7am.
Naps vary but typically an hour, at home 12.30-1.30 at nursery 1.30-2.30 x

We were nursing through the night and night weaning took us from 1-2 hourly wakes to sleeping through so I’d say cutting the milk is a pretty good place to start especially if it’s cows milk as it’s awful for their teeth x

We had a week of sleeping through after weaning off breastfeeding - which I stupidly taken as our new fantastic reality 😂 now our girl says she’s scared at night and wakes about 2/3 times. I sleep with her and I enjoy cuddles but she doesn’t want to sleep in our bed.

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

How many words

Just a quick gauge of how many words your little ones are saying at this age. I heard by 15 months it should be 5 words, are most around this mark ?
